Question about current creditor

I have a bank loan that I quit paying on in December 2005.  The bank's lawyers sent me a notice of judgement early this summer.  I have been paying them $250.00 per month - I still haven't signed any of their paperwork, but they are directly debting my checking account for the payments.  Can I still work with them to delete the account from my credit report and/or have it shown as timely paid?  Would the DV or the PFD letters work for me at this point?  Please let me know if you need more information.

I'll be reading past posts on this forum all weekend - I've found a new addiction.

Thanks-

Cathleen

Bump - can anyone help me with this one?  I want to get something in writting (if possible) before they take any more money.  Thanks!
