Removing credit info from Family member with same name as yourself.

I am a Junior, and credit info from a person who I share the same name is appearing on my credit file!  How do I go about removing that person's accounts from my credit report?

Any info would be appriciated!

Contact the CRA and let them know you have mixed file.

This is not an error on lender's part, do disputing those accounts won't do anything.

It will need to be rectified by CRA(s) on which you're seeing these accounts.

I know the drill lol  @Remedios is right.

Get a copy of your Lexis Nexis consumer report while you're at it because odds are that will also need some sanitizing.  LN errors you DO just dispute off.

Should also mention to prepare yourself for pain and suffering if you have to deal with EQ. By default you will deal with offshore CSRs and while I found them very competent their ability to fix breakage is by design extremely limited.   Their recourse is to open up an internal ticket and dispatch for different teams to address.

Thank you for the heads up!  do I call the experian customer service #? the only problem is that you are only given to options when you call the number 1) put a fraud alert on your profile and 2) if you have been a victim of fraud.  I guess what is the easiest way to get to a CSR?
