Requesting Credit Reports from the Three Agencies

I was recently declined by Discover Card for a credit line increase. They sent me a decline letter and the reason(s) for that decline. They said they pulled my credit report from Trans Union. I know I can get my free credit report from Trans Union because of this decline>

My question, can I also request one from Equifax and Experian too? Or am I only eligible for the free credit report from Trans Union?  I pulled my Trans Union report four months ago.  I pull each report every 4 months to take advantage of my free annual report.

Re: Requesting Credit Reports from the Three Agencies

Based off this denial you can request TU for free, the others you'd have to pay for.

You can sign up for Credit Karma.  They'll allow you to pull your TU and EQ reports once a week.  The scores they provide don't carry much weight but at least you can see your reports in their entirety for free.  As for EQ, Discover offers "score card" and that's about the closest I've seen to anything free as far as EX.

Re: Requesting Credit Reports from the Three Agencies

As discover only pulled TU, this has nothing to do with eq or ex.

Re: Requesting Credit Reports from the Three Agencies

Remember everyone is entitled to One Free Credit Report each year from each Credit Bureau. But only thru Annual Credit Report dot com. Credit scores are not free or included.

And as you have found out once declined for credit based on a report from a single CB you can get that report free too ( but not credit scores).
So if you have not gotten your 3 Free reports that’s a good place to start.

You can also get a free report from TU and EQ every 24 hours if you sign up for TrueIdentity (TU) and TrustedID (EQ), both are free services (one year for TrustedID) that also allow you to lock your report.
