I noticed something like this on Experian.com. Can someone educate me the difference between Revolving Accounts and Bank-Issued Credit Card Accounts? Examples? Thank you in advance.
Credit Mix | Very Good
Revolving Accounts | Yes |
Bank-Issued Credit Card Accounts | Yes |
Installment Loans, Including Mortgages | Yes |
Can't say for sure but the separate classification of Bank-Issued Credit Cards would not include other revolvers such as charge cards (store cards) and Lines of Credit. I have both and they report as revolvers.
Is there any advantage to your credit scores if you have charge cards as well as credit cards as opposed to credit cards only?
Not sure. I believe I've read hear that 3 CC and 1 installment is all that is needed to maximize your score.

No, score wise they are the same though in the eyes of a human looking at your CR bankcards are more preferrable.

Thank you.
Could you clarify what is a bankcard? Is it the same as a debit card?
