Ok so I checked my husbands reports on CCT and Credit Karma. Which is correct???? I am SO confused!
Credit Karma has PRA, Midland, ERC and Calvary all reporting on ALL 3 CRA's. Credit Karma Doesn't have any Cap one charge offs listed for TU.
HOWEVER
CCT doesn't have any of the debt buyers listed on TU, but it does have 3 capital one accounts and he only had 2 accounts!! One has a balance of $491 says it's open type collection, one is $445 says it's open type collection, and the other is $772 says it's open type collection as well. The 2 that are his is the $445 and $772!!
I know I need to dispute the cap one for $495 as it isn't his. Plus his has inaccuracies the one for $495 says it was opened in March 2015 and the one for $772 says opened in Feb 2015!! These are inaccurate dates these were opened almost 4 yrs ago! Do I also dispute the open dates? The fact that is says account status opened??
The one that isn't his says it was opened in 2013 and our charge offs started in June of 2012!
It depends on what you define as "correct". CCT uses FICO 8 scores while CK uses VantageScore. CK scores are used by a small amount of lenders, yet no one can really identify which lenders use those scores. FICO scores are touted as used by 90% of lenders so that is more than likely the score on which you should focus. If there are inaccuracies on a credit report, it is your right to dispute them and make the CRA's and data furnishers produce and report correct information.

My question wasn't about the score, it was about which site had correct information. I am now looking at the credit report because I selected to do a dispute and I don't see Cap One on the TU report at all, only collection accounts for them. So I don't know which site to belive when I look at them!!
Go to AnnualCreditReport.com and request all three credit reports. This will be the most accurate as far as detailed information goes. It could be that Capital One did a charge off, and that's listed on the report under Capital One, and they sent it to collections, which then also lists on the report. I have the same issue with Fingerhut. They're listed on my reports as a charge off and there's also a collection on my report from them, as well, so I'm hit twice with the same baddie. And they are totally allowed to do it.
Good luck!

That doesn't have anything to do with my question. It has to do with the sites CCT and CK. I can check our reports online with doing a dispute and it is different on the reports as in Capital ONE is NOT on any of the reports, just the debt buyers, yet on CCT TU has Capital One and CK doesn't have Cap One, just the debt buyers!
Again it has to do with the sites, everyone says CCT is the best NON fako score yet when you check your reports there (my husbands in this case) it seems to have the wrong info listed!!!!

Actually ORllyNao is 100% spot on: whenever there is a discrepancy in the data, you go to the source which is the bureaus as their data is reference. Every 3rd party credit report seller is getting data from them.
There should be no difference between the sites you mentioned as both are making pulls from the same source: if they have different data, something is wrong and it's time to go straight to Transunion and get the report from there.
You have the statutory right, aside from ordering commercial credit reports, to directly request a CRA to provide "any information" that is of record in your credit file at a given point in time. It can be used for purposes such as yours where commercial credit reports are making some sort of filtering or data reporting mistake, or dont provide an item you want, such as a DOFD. See FRCA 609(a).
Requests under seciton 609(a) must be accompanied by proof of your identity and are subject to a CRA processing fee, which is currently $11.00.

The CRA's are the official record keepers of report data. When in doubt, always go directly to the CRA's to verify what your reports look like.
It is possible for a service like CCT or CK to have data issues. Don't rely on one service versus the other to verify in situations like this. Go straight to the source.

You cannot assume broad trends based on insufficient sample data like that. Data issues are possible in given situations but for most people CCT and CK have the correct info. You can't assume that one person having a problem with X means that all Xs are faulty based on that one person's experience.
Don't rely on oversimplifications like "best" and "non FAKO". CCT can be a useful source for FICO 8's. However, a FICO 8 is a FICO 8. CCT's FICO 8's aren't any "better" than FICO 8's from other sources. If one needs scores other than FICO 8 then CCT is the wrong tool for the job. CCT is popular but as with any topic, best is highly subjective and CCT is not a one-size-fits-all solution.
