Self lender reporting issues

I opened a self lender account in late Oct '17, first payment was Dec 1st. I've now made 3 payments, and it has yet to hit my credit report! When I signed up, it said they would be reporting no later than the end of Feb, which is today. Anyone else deal with this? Just curious and getting a bit frustrated.

Re: Self lender reporting issues

Mines was supposed to show on my credit report at the end of January and it's only reporting on my Experian report.

Ohhh, that's no good! After looking on to it, this seems to be a common issue. I hope more people do their research, unlike me, before committing and expecting self lender to actually follow through

Re: Self lender reporting issues

I have a self lender account, and it didn't start reporting until the third month (payment). If it's not there on your CRAs by the fourth month, contact them.

Re: Self lender reporting issues

Mine too! Opened end of December, it’s only reported on Experian so far and that was already my highest score, so frustrating. They told me they report first of the month and it’s up to the CRA as to when they add it, doesn’t sound right.

1st goal: 700 across the board
Starting Scores 01/19/2018
Equifax : 579
Transunion: 585
Experian: 602

Current 07/06/2018
Equifax:662
Transunion: 645
Experian: 683

Re: Self lender reporting issues

I opened my account with Self Lender Jan 1, 2018.  Made on time payments Feb 1 and March 1.  TransUnion and Experian started reporting April 3.  So just a couple of days past the 30-60 day mark that Self Lender states it may take after your first payment for the bureas to start reporting.  Equifax just started showing today on April 5.  It does show my past 2 payments were on time.

When Transunion first reported on April 3, showing only Feb payment, my score dropped 2 points.  Then today, when it got updated with my March payment my score went up 6 points.

Re: Self lender reporting issues

I opened one back in October. Started reporting before end of December to all 3 bureaus. It is listed as Austin Capital Bank SSB as that is the bank they use. It won't come up as Self Lender.
