Pretty much every cat that has turned up at our door, no matter how young and/or skinny, was pregnant. The most recent one was so affectionate that she did her labor on the desk where I was working (back when I worked at home.) Got her into her little den in the closet just as kitten #1 started to crown. I guess I was her doula or something...

Currently catless, and dog is not going with me (not mine)....if you were in Northern California would take a couple of your hands.

So far - five. She's still going strong. Two black, three black w/ white chins/bellies/feet. She's a black momma, so not suprising her kits are black

Good heavens, she was busy 8 weeks ago, wasn't she?

Our cat had three kittens that were all variations on long-haired black and tortoiseshell, and one short-haired orange and white tabby. Complicated love life there, apparently.

The first one we rescued, had five that were all long-haired & grey, one w/ white underbelly (like momma) and then this random gorgeous white w/ blue sealpoint & ice blue eyes. She has some 'splainin' to do !

I remember when I was around 10 or so, my dad brought home a cat (in a knotted pillow case) from a golfcourse.  Apparently he'd seen her there and she was friendly but a little spastic and tore the heck out of him when he caught her to bring her home - hence the knot to keep her in there and not on his face while driving.

Well, she was gorgeous, all black, and tiny.

Shortly there after she started to put on the pounds, and popped out 8 blue point siamese kittens.  We were in shock.  We ended up giving them all away and never brought in another stray haha.  They were so cute though!

modernsurrender- Reminds me of when I was in high school and bought a male hamster....next day "he" had 8 babies !!! Something funny was going on in that pet shop ! Worst part...she ate them all...
