I sent my app in just before noon on Weds.  Called this afternoon and while they did confirm it arrived, apps were taking 3-5 days to process.  Maybe I will get lucky and hear back  Monday.

Yea call on monday. They are real nice and should set everything up for you on the phone. Just a heads up the CSR rep forgot to fund the account. So don't forget that part or you'll have a -5$ balance. They let me use a CC. the max funding is 250. I funded the max. They are more than willing to walk you through the whole setup process online.

Re: Started NFCU process help

You should go ahead and apply for cash rewards credit card and navchek. i had alot more inquiries than you and i got approved so i'm sure you will too. at some point they may ask for id documents. mine went thru bsadocs which is just providing a id copy and address verification. some applications get reviewed more than others but now that you are in you can apply for your card and navchek. ask for 15k on the navchek they may surprise you. if it comes back declined you can do reconsideration and ask for 500. they will typically approve a smaller request at least in my case they did. i didn't get the biggest credit card limit right away but am sure after 90 days i can increase it and am sure it will be a pretty big jump. i got a little over a 1,000 if you want a rushed card select that option card arrives next day after approval for only 12.00 and fedex delivers before 1030 am. i've never had better service that what i got thru navy federal. now there were some hiccups with the initial application and having to send in more docs but i got it done in a weeks time. patience is key.
