To the Office of Comptroller of Maryland
I am writing this letter to confirm my payments and to respectfully request an expungement of the attached referenced account.
I have paid the $1122.67 and $1097 on or before 10/23/2017 the attached cases [ look up your cases onlineand give them the info here]. The payments, including all principal, interest, late charges, penalties and assessments, have reduced my account balance to zero which closed the account. Because of this, I am hoping there be no further collect on this account and, therefore, I am requesting that the Maryland Comptroller vacate, withdraw and/or expunge with the Anne Arundel County and Montgomery County Courts .
Please assist me with figuring out how to process this future, or, be so kind to forward a copy of the withdrawal and/ or expungement to the address listed above in this letter. If possible, please feel free to email me at [email protected] or call: xxx-xxx-xxxx
Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
KXXX KXXXX
It is likely that the removal had nothing to do with your request, or its substance.
The CRAs jointly made a recent announcement that they are discontinuing the inclusion of all tax liens in their credit reports.
That follows their announcement two years ago of removal of some tax liens if they did not provide certain minimum personal identified information.
It is likely that their removal was based on that purge rather than any substantive consideration of its merits.
