Question is on the last report on 8/02/07 Can they report on January 2007?

Do I need to report this. The only reason I did not pay this was because My deposit was all used up and when I moved out the neighbors dented my window screen and they said it was me. It made me mad so I did not pay it.   What would make my score better.  Pay it and have it on 7 more years, or not pay it and let them keep reporting it? I thought it falls off after 7 years which would come off on 05/2008?  Any suggestions?

I would open a dispute with all 3 CRAs. Because drop off is soon CR MIGHT delete it. If it isn't delete go to next step.

You have every right to dispute   the dates are ever changing. Another thing, The way it is suposse to work....The CRA contects the debtor _ the debtor then contacts the CRA saying it is verified. This doesn't ususaly happen though. they use a third party data base.

 You can next ask for a reinvestication....OR you  can send a MOV to the CRAs.

After that you can keep going,as there is more that you can do.

Yes under CRTP it will fall off your CR in 7-7.5 years

Yes, they can report it in January 2007, if what they report is accurate.

Paying will not extend it for 7 more years on your CRs. See the link in my sig about SOL v. CRTP.
