I have a discovery card that I am trying to pay off. Been paying the 3 yr amount that shows up on my statement of 438.
My total stmt balance when I began was 11640.72, but I had a promo apr of 0% expiring 6/12 with a balance of 3499.99, promo of 6.99% expiring 9/13 with a balance of 4893.34, and a regular balance of 3146.16 with apr of 22.99
I guess I'll find out soon and some online credit card calculator not helping but is that 438 factoring in paying off the whole balance even with soon to expire promo rates?
I'm not the best at math.

I'm not quite following what exactly you're saying, can you paste in the exact details with personal info redacted ?
Or you might just give Discover a call and I'm sure they could explain how your payment amount is related to your outstanding balance and how long it will take to pay down?
I understand what you are talking about. I am doing the "pay x amount in 3 yrs and your credit card will be paid off" on 2 of mine. That amount of $438 Discover gave you is for when you first started. It sounds like the 0% promo offer can after? Discover or any credit card won't reset the amount you need to pay to remain within the original 3 yr payoff window. Like if 1 month you paid only $400 and had 30 months in your 36 month payoff period, Discover won't recalculate and say "now you need to pay say "450" for the rest of the time to pay it off in the same 3 year window.
