Re: The Registry

Is it a hard or soft pull?

Under "creditor contacts" does it list any informatio for them?

On the inquiry entry does it list the reason?

Re: The Registry

I found only one reference to this using Google.  In that case, it was related to an apartment rental inquiry.

OP, have you been apartment hunting, perhaps?

Re: The Registry

Ok here we go again with the apt thing.. I just recently bought a truck .. 9800.00 dollars financed at 14% not the greatest .. It is not on my report yet.. I have almost maxed out my credit card cap one but I have been paying above the min.. amount for almost 8 months.. never late .. I got a Old Navy Card the other day 400.00 credit limit..  So I tried to get a wal mart card also and was denied.. I thought Gemb would do both but no..  Now Here we are at 633 exp 616 eq and ?? TU.. We are now looking for an apartment and believe it or not I have been denied at 2 places and the others want a higher deposit... Lets see I am 42 years old .. I live at an apt now for 6 years and never missed or have been late on my rent..or bills like elec and such... Hmmm what gives .. Look out if you dont have a good credit score I guess you can make all the money in the world you will just have to live on the street.. The main reason we want to move is to get our 11 year old daughter in a better school district... We live in Jackson, Ms now and looking to move to Ridgeland or Brandon... Jackson Public Schools are the worst in the world...
Also to rant a little more where do people get off renting a freakin box for all this money .. 1000 sq feet for 900 a month .. Dang ..  For what ,,, so you can ave bitchy neighbors and people telling you to turn down your surround system at 2 am...

Yes, it's getting more and more expensive to rent just about everywhere.  As more and more people are getting kicked out of their homes due to foreclosure, demand for rentals has gone up.

But it's all relative.  Count your blessings.  We pay $1430 a month for 550 sq ft. Smiley Happy  (Of course, that's in NYC, so it's not really comparable.)

That's a bargain in many areas.  Try paying $1200 for 900 sq ft.

Re: The Registry

I live in a 30 sq ft Edsel that I park behind the 7/11.  Rent free!
I went into the 7/11 and attempted to buy a slurpee on credit, and they considered it a "consumer initiated business transaction,"  so they did a credit pull, and now I can no longer even slurpee!
That was a hard pull!

Hey, don't knock 7-Eleven.  I think they'd go out of business if it weren't for me.

Nothing better than a Slurpee on a 98 degree afternoon.

3 Bedroom, 1400 Sq ft apartment for $1270 (including water).

The rules suck though, and the neighborhood has gone DOWN. Our place is supposed to be "luxury apartments" ... and before anyone thinks I'm being pompous in mentioning this, we live HERE and pay the sucky rent (average for around here is about $1K for a 3 BD ... it's hotels and beach-houses that are expensive!!) because durn nigh everywhere else has registered pedophiles living within 5 blocks. Too close for MY comfort. :/

It's worth the extra $200 to be TEN blocks away from the nearest sex offender. Apparently, my town attracts them like flies! Smiley Mad
