Re: Transunion b*

CCT = Credit Check Total (I think.)

CCT and CreditKarma are two of the credit monitoring services. Many of us use services that allow us to check our reports daily. TrueCredit was a favorite with a lot of people until they changed to allowing only TU pulls daily, with the other two once a month.

With any credit monitoring service, do realize that you're getting it for the ability to frequently view your credit reports. The scores that come with them are FAKO's, and you need to learn to screen them out, along with the advice that they give on improving your scores. They (and the advice) are based on non-FICO formulas.

(myFICO does have credit monitoring services, but they wouldn't be used for daily pulls --too expensive. We use them to check our FICO scores.)
* Credit is a wonderful servant, but a terrible master. * Who's the boss --you or your credit?
FICO's: EQ 781 - TU 793 - EX 779 (from PSECU) - Done credit hunting; having fun with credit gardening. - EQ 590 on 5/14/2007

Re: Transunion b*

Credit Karma is free and just shows you a FAKO TU score.

You don't get a report( or if you do I haven't found it).

You get a snapshot, that tells you some negative factors on your report. It also ranks you compared to national stats, your state's stats, etc. and you can use a score simulator.

Re: Transunion b*

Wow, I didn't realize I nearly treaded into controversial waters with this thread!  CreditKarma doesn't give you a report, and while the FAKO score itself may be significantly different than your FICO, I believe the TREND should be similar; i.e., if your CK score has been rising for the three months since you last checked your FICO, you FICO should be higher as well.
