Transunion report

Just checked transunion report and found two names on it. One of them is my name the other is my name with the first letter misspelled. I found out jcypenny reported it when I apped in store and was declined. The cashier had punched my first name wrong, could that be why I was declined and what should I do about the name on my report? Will it effected me? Thanks in advance

Contact TU to correct your name. As for why, no they were still able to match your information. My first name is misspelled all the time plus my last name is hyphenated which seems to cause CBs problems too. smileysad:
