Ok ive been addicted to all these post reading searching learning everyday.  It is really really starting to frustrate me to no end!!!!!! I dont think my credit is really that bad for over than 15 years of credit history. 2 charge offs in 02 (paid in full) 20 something late pays in a about a 9 year time span,,,,several installment loans over a long time with no late and good payment history,, harley ive been paying on for 3 years havent been late one time a new truck havent been late in 2 years i have one CC with a freakin 0 balance!!! my scores are TU500 EP523 EQ547 how in the world could all these ppl in here that have a BK 3 years ago have better scores than me??? this frustrates the heck outta me!!!!!! guess Im the guy who is gonna just always have low scores!!!!!

Take a deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep breath.  Don't be frustrated -- your scores can only improve, right? It just takes knowing the system and doing some work.  There is a lot of good advice here and helpful resources.
 
IMHO: (1) write GWs for the 2 COs; (2) write GWs for the late pays; (3) keep paying absolutely everything on time; (4) use your credit card, that's what it's there for -- you have to show you can handle credit responsibly by paying on time and keeping util at 1 - 9 %; and (5) get a few more CCs.
