I am a beginner at all this, but I've been monitoring the bulletin boards and wonder if someone can help me.
I'm recovering from an October 2005 bankruptcy. I currently have a WaMu card that supposedly supplies TU's FICO score each month. My scores for the last three months have been: 9/08-673; 10/08-662; 11/08-680.
I recently got a Juniper card that also purports to show TU's scores, but they call them "Trans Risk" Scores. According to Juniper, my TU Trans Risk Score for 11/08 is 615. They're both TU, but vary drastically.
What's the difference?
FYI, I just bought ScoreWatch and it gave me an Experian score for 11/08 of 666, but I noticed it has someone else's credit reported on it with a lot of delinquencies. Time to pull all three,I guess.
Any help out there?
A TransRisk score is a FAKO score based on your TU report. Ignore it.
If you have found accounts on your EX report that are not yours, pulling all 3 reports is a great idea.
If you haven't pulled in the last 12 months, you can get your free annual reports.
