Statement closed this morning on my new Chase Freedom. I need one of my new accounts to report to the CRAs so I get a credit score. Anybody know how soon after statement cut Chase reports? Somewhat surprised that the statement cut on the Freedom that I was only approved for on the 8th rather than one of the Cap One cards I was approved for on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1.
I'm not sure but I believe mine reports about 5 days after the statement cuts. Probably about the same amount of time as mine.

I would suggest giving them a call to find out when they report. Hopefully you will get a great rep who will be able to tell you. 😀
Statement date. Don't overlook prior discussions as a resource
and you can definitely always call your creditor to confirm. Keep in mind that when a creditor reports and when a CRA updates are two different things. It can take a CRA several business days to update.

Don't assume that all creditors handle these things the same way. Some will cut earlier than others relative to approval. Time to first report can vary.
My last statement closed on 4/3 but as of today, I am yet to see its reporting to all 3 credit bureaus. FYI, I have been a Chase credit crad holder for 10 years ..
So it would be great to know when yours get reported.
Just as an FYI - Chase will do a mid-month report if you pay a card to $0 reporting that the card is completely paid off...
Actually, Chase will report when the balance hits $0, at any time.
However, wouldn't you think Chase would report to the Credit Bureaus after the statement closes each month?
My first statement cut from Chase on 2-27 They reported on 2-29, at least according to EX and CCT.
Please define mid-cycle?
We all know that if you pay down to 0, Chase will report it to CB right away.
So, if you don't pay down to 0, Chase won't report it?
My question is, when does Chase report to CBs? Everyone is telling me that they will report when the balance hits 0.. But all I want to know is, when do they report if you dont pay down to 0, and how many days after the statement closes?
