When should I pull my reports?

About two weeks ago I applied for, and with a cosigner, was approved for a LOC with BoA with a 15k limit.  I borrowed 10k to pay off all of my other CC's and a personal loan, all with ridiculous %'s.  What I would like to know is when should I cough up the cash and pull my reports and scores to see how this has helped, is there a general time period that I should wait to allow these changes to take affect?

Re: When should I pull my reports?

I would suggest waiting till everything has reported, which may be the end of the billing cycles (statement dates) then some time for the CCCs to report to the CRAs.

weeks, possibly nearly 2 months.

Others may have different views.
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

All right I'll wait a little bit and see what comes of it.  What would you all suggest for products to obtain my reports and scores?

Re: When should I pull my reports?

I used Suze Orman's FICO kit. It cost $50, but you and sometimes find it cheaper. Got mine from Home Shopping Networks website.  You get three credit report pulls, so you could one at a time and months apart as long as you use them within a year, or you can do like I did and pull all three CRAs at the same timeand then buy additional pulls later if you feel you need them.  I just pulled all three of mine yesterday, for the third month in a row. I just signed up for Truecredit monitoring yesterday but those are FAKO scores.

What I like about the Suze Orman software is that it presents everything so nice, you can access them from this myfico site, you can print out the whole report and you can even save a software copy (because the online reportis only viewable for 30 days).  Suze's software helped me with my disputes as well. All in all a good package for someone just starting out on the credit rebuilding path. Many of the folks around this site that have alot more experience, seem to have ways of doing things cheaper.

Re: When should I pull my reports?

Me too, but my FAKO score went down 5 points because this stupid JDB that I paid twice for is STILL reporting FAKE crud!  Never get alerts that anything has been changed, nothing...

I am having some problems understanding how to do some things on TC now that I have joined. How do you do daily pulls (understanding that they are FAKO scores)?  Have not seen any alerts yet (which may be a good thing). Do I need to do anything to set the type of alerts to report?
