Where do I go from here.

Discharged bankruptcy in nov 2008, now have a credit score of 609 and 612 for my husband. I now make 100k a year and debt to income ratio is very low..

Who do we talk to about fixing , improving our credit so that we can buy a house. We want to be on the fast track to get things back on order.

My mom owns the current house we are in and we spent our 20% down to help her get the house for us. We would like to own this house. What are the options for our current situation.

Is there a professional we can sit down with to fast track our fico issues?

Re: Where do I go from here.

1.  Is the house in your mom's name?

2.  Will she do an owner finance with you?

3.  Will she do a rent to own with you?

4.  If she will not, then save every penny you can!  Pay off existing debt.  Use the cc for small purchases and pay it off immediately!

5.  Another little trick to quickly raising your credit scores is to do a small, secured loan with your bank.  For example, have $2000 tucked away in a savings account or locked into a CD.  Then ask to do a personal loan for $500 or a $1000.  It is secured by your savings with the bank.  Say short term loan (6 months or less).  Pay  back the loan within 7 days!

Good luck!
