Who has my real score?

I have credit reports from LandSafe, Credit Link and from Equifax Mortgage Solutions.  My scores vary on all three reports.  Who has the right score, or is there a right score?

Re: Who has my real score?

I was told that the mortgage companies use different bureaus and that they look at a different criteria when they are trying to approve you for a mortgage.  Is this correct?

That would be your mortgage FICO score and each CRA has one just like classic FICO. Until the industry goes to other scores just use FICO.

FICO scores are the only ones that matter.  Keep in mind that some CCCs use card-ehanced FICO scoring and auto lenders an auto-enhanced FICO scoring.  Try reading, the credit 101 thread, courtesy of Tuscani.

Re: Who has my real score?

So what is taken into account when figuring my mortgage fico score?  I am way confused.  When I pulled my fico scores from myfico.com I got the scores and then the mortgage company came in with something way lower.  How can that be and why don't they just use FICO scores if they are the standard?

Thats strange!  Ask them where they got the scores from.

Re: Who has my real score?

Do you have any past mortgage history at all?

Or even rental history?
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

Re: Who has my real score?

Yes, this is my second home.  First home bought in 1998, sold in 2005, new home bought in 2006, still in it.  We have rented for over 10+ years.
