I did not ask for this fraud alert to be added to my report! I'm in the final stages of credit report cleanup which is having hard inquiries removed. I guess they didn't like that and they gave me this in return. I assume calling them will get this alert removed?

Why are you trying to get HP's removed unless they are really fraud?
I'm not sure if they will remove the fraud notice or not.
What do you mean "removing inquiries?" the only way for an inquiry to come off is waiting the 2 years for it to fall off, you can't dispute them..if you asked for credit there will be an inquiry on your report. If you do dispute it would seem as though someone else is trying to get credit in your name; hence the fraud alert being placed on your account.
Everything done is by the letter of the law. All 4 inquiries removed.
So, you "remove" them by claiming they weren't initiated by you, you get fraud alert, and you're not happy with fraud alert?

Please clarify. You had 4 hard inquiries removed. What was the reason given to the bureau for removal?
I've never seen a YouTube rando that remembered to mention this part.

Did I say I claimed they were fraud? Nope!

No, but there are a number of them putting out videos on how to use ethically-challenged techniques to try to get inquiries removed.
