Why Experian pulled my Experian Credit Report

I have checked my 3-in-1 CR on Chase IDProtection. On my EX CR there is a hard inqury by name Experian. I wonder why EX would pull my CR with a Hard Inq when they already have access to all my CR information on their system? Is it some thing I can dispute with EX and ask them to remove the Inq. Other question is why in the first place they would pull my credit report? Any Ideas or suggestions?

Is it definitely Experian the credit bureau, instead of Experian Super Duper Loan Sharks or something? You might want to compare addresses. Seems like there was some mortgage company called Equifax once that used to pop up on reports, confusing everyone.

I get softs from EX when I pull from them or through one of their services, but I can't think why there'd be a hard.

Re: Why Experian pulled my Experian Credit Report

I am not sure this is what I see in the Creditor Contact information.

EXPERIAN 600 CITY PKWY W STE 800 ORANGE CA 92868 8005201221

I did a mistake of applying for Biz Lease with Direct Capital. I send the guy before applying a copy of my credit report. He sounded like it is a go ahead but they officially have to pull. I said it is ok. Next thing I see in two days I have 6 inqs on my CR's from different leasing companies.  I contacted Direct Capital and the guy says their internal underwriters passed the loan and he sent out to a syndicate of other leasing companies he works with.

Now I have 6 new inq's on my CR's and not even sure if any of them would approve my lease for $2200 for Apple Computer. I thought it would look good for my biz credit as they would report to D&B. Now I got my fingers burned. The guy has nerve to say you already have 55 inq's especially 7 from Amex and 2 inq's is not going to ruin my scores. Now I see there are 6 inq's and I have no idea how many more inq's I am going to get from other companies that this guy sent out my information to.

I am totally disappointed and depressed. All the hard work I have done for the last 12 months down the drain with what this guy is doing. I would not have minded if he told me upfront, our internal underwriters did not approve and do you want me to try else where.

I feel like I am jaded. These guys are crooks like auto dealership people. At least for Auto Loan inq's with in a period would count as one. In my case looks like I am burned and burned good.
