Re: X1 Card Reporting to CRAs?

Googled your question:

Quote without much research: "It will report to all three major U.S. credit bureaus, which is exactly what you want as you're building credit. And unlike a lot of starter credit cards, it will even earn relatively rich rewards. But as of now, of course, the X1 Card is not yet on the market, and we don't know who the issuing bank will be."

Re: X1 Card Reporting to CRAs?

@Taurus22 @rostrow416  Well thats nice to know. I only looked if it reported to the CRA's as the OP asked. Thats a quote. Which I fixed. I was leaving for work. I figured someone had it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Re: X1 Card Reporting to CRAs?

@FireMedic1   It's all good. Just wanted to make you aware it was already being issued at this point. Maybe @4sallypat or @thewally could offer some insight when their statements cut to how they report, which I'm sure it does.

Yes, according to X1 (Thrive), they messaged back and said it would report to all 3 CRA.

I will have to wait for my first statement since I just got the card yesterday via FedEx overnight.

Don't know what my APR rate is - their mobile app only shows credit line, available credit and payments.

They have excellent customer service (limited to weekdays - banking hours only) but could not help me link a 2FA bank account which is my primary direct deposit account.

Apparently only one bank account can be linked to the X1 Card which is only an issue with me.

When I first signed up, I wanted to link my direct deposit account but couldn't due to 2FA so I used a second bank account that is non direct deposit and that may have reduced the credit limit.

I opted to auto pay every 2 weeks instead of monthly to reduce reporting of a balance since I PIF.

BTW: @thewally got his X1 with a higher SL and he had the same issue with a 2FA account link...

For a new fintech card that does not HP - for a SP card, high limits, and bank link via Plaid - it's definitely what their website says "Smartest Credit Card Ever Made"
