Re: When does X1 start reporting to the CRAs?

Same here, noting yet! Only HP is showing as of couple of months ago.

I have it setup as taking payment every week! So its possible by report date it would show zero balance and some bank don't report that! Probably not! Just thinking out load...

So I have been watching my X1 - 4 billing cycles and have not seen my total CL increase nor any reporting.

I don't know if I should be happy or sad that it does not report.

I was initially thinking the same thing!

...but then decided I'm happiest if it doesn't report.

....course that just means that I jinxed it, so I'd guess it will report any moment now.    LOL

Re: When does X1 start reporting to the CRAs?

So far I haven't seen any evidence of a HP when I opened the account in Dec. and no reporting of it anywhere either. Nothing with any of the 3 CRAs so far.

Re: X1 Card Reporting to CRAs?

RootDet,

I just got my second statement on my X1 card, and it is not showing up on any of my CR's yet.  The only thing I've gotten was an alert from Experian for the HP after I got approved for the card, and an alert from CreditWise that Experian did the pull.

I'm not sure what is going on but it sounds like Coastal could have some issues. I hope this doesn't turn out to be a BlissPay repeat.

X1 Card as a hidden tradeline?

I applied for and was approved for an X1 card several months ago, but haven't used it. Activated it, have the app, have the card, but haven't done a charge yet. So far, it has not shown up as a tradeline on any of my bureau reports. Is this normal? Or should I expect that after the first charge and cycle is when they'll finally post to it.

If it actually IS a hidden line that's fine -- valuable, even -- but I'd like to know what to expect before making use of it.

Re: X1 Card as a hidden tradeline?

I unfortunately missed the soft pull by a few days because I applied on Dec 20th and received a hard pull on Dec 22nd.  Anyway, I like it not reporting. It has brought my utilization to 1% from 3%. I like it and hope it does not report until at least June.  I belive a 6 months account will have less impact on credit scores.  I would actually prefer for it show up after the 1st year anniversary.

They change policies suddenly, one week soft pulls, the next week hard pulls. So you do not know with X1.  They can start reporting any day now or months from now.  One never know.

New guidance from X1 under the Help Center section of the app:

That is a very good point!

I think this card still considered as beta. Not open to "apply now" and invite is the only way to get in! Once is open to general public then probably going to act as normal credit card! I don't believe there is a way to login through website yet!
