adding something to your CR?

my gf has braces she finances through the dentist. they dont report or anything (im sure they would if she didnt pay) is there any way to add this as an account to her 3 CR's?

Some medical debt can be financed through creditors like CareCredit which will report. However, if it is a deal setup between her and the Dentist, where she is paying directly to the dentist, then odds are the dentist won't ever report. It costs money and time for them to set that up with each CRA.

I've heard you can get something added "manually" by having the lender send the debtor a letter stating the terms, current payment history etc but that means every couple of months the lender would have to create a new letter to update the credit bureau. Kind of a pain if it's just the dentist and not a credit lender.

KY, where did you hear of such a procedure?  I have never heard of it.
