charged off accounts

I have a few charged off cc accounts.  Have been paid but still showing.  I have sent gw letters but so far all no's.   Any other suggestions I can try??

From what I have read send the GW letters to other people in the same organization, higher up's etc. Again and again and again.

Who did you pay OC or CA  and what is the DOFD  DOLA??

OC   BP citibank     DOFD 11/2004    DOLA  N/A     I made payment on 9/05 for full amount

OC   capital one   (this was my DW's )   DOFD 7/01  DOLA N/A    (paid settlement)

OC   first premiere   DOFD 2/05    DOLA  N/A         paid in full 9/2005

OC providian   DOLA   N/A    DOFD   6/2001   settlement

I'd love to get rid of these.  They look so ugly on my report!   Thanks for your help!

They look uglier than they really are. By all means, try and PFD the ones 2004 and later, but your focus at this juncture should be acquiring new credit lines and establishing a good record of ontime payments and low balances.
