jumped the gun on offer to settle...

Im pretty new to the forum and i think that i have jumped the gun to settle after reading the posts for a few days.

#1        I offered to agree to the settlement with a CA if they would agree to mark it as paid as agreed and no comments on it being a collection on my CR.  Can I resend a PFD letter after their respose?

#2       The other CA i offered to pay installments if they would mark it as current up to date( I know now collections is collections)  They have also added a ton of interest after they purchased this account. Can I send a DV letter after they respond to payment agreements or am I stuck paying the ($1000) added interest?  I just noticed it was due to come off my CA in 3 months... STUPID STUPID STUPID

I am a dumb#$% because I also signed ALL of my letters to the 2 CA's........ HELP!!!

I have sent DV letters to 2 to Pallisades No response yet, and 1 to Atlantic (it went all the way to court which has now been deleted off my report), they however put it back as a collection account. The DV from Atlantic was not suffice with all info.

I would think that even if you have agreed to pay the amount and have not stupidly (like I did with my other debts paid it off) then I am almost positive you can make them validate your debt.

It will be like if you owe Rose money and Rose turned around and ask Gloria to collect the money you owe from Rose, will you pay Gloria twice the money you owe Rose without finding out if it is legal for both of them to do that and how they came upon charging you a lot more than you really owe?

So even if you told Gloria you will pay, you can still turn around and ask, by the way I want to know the facts on how Gloria got involved in this.
