Lol, I did the same thing. You'd think filling out credit applications was therapeutic for me at some point. I froze all of my reports, and I plan to leave them frozen until all of my inquiries drop off.. For now, I'm just taking care of the existing debt.

Anyway, see above for how to freeze the reports. I believe you have to make accounts at the reporter's website, IIRC. Overall, it wasn't a difficult process.

Make sure when you freeze Equifax that you make an account with My Equifax otherwise someone can make an account with your info at Equifax and lift your freeze without your PIN. Yet another stupid oversight by Equifax.

OP TU has a phone app thats really easy. Couple clicks. Freeze and unfreeze if needed.
