what sort of score increase can you expect per month?

If you keep your utilization below 5%?

lets assume your payment history is going to be remain good, and nothing
else is changing to your report.

How many points is it likely to climb? 6 points a month? 10 points? 2 points?

FYI Experian sucks

Before I learned the tricks of the trade, just paying bills and doing nothing else, about 20 points a year.
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

Midnightvoice could you elaborate on the "tricks of the trade" that helped to increase more than 20 points a year. What things did you do to get extra increases?

Most of us here have read most of the posts on here: like paying bills on time, getting baddies off, GW and PFD, (flygirl) 1% to 9%, on time, all the time utli. Is there any other things that you have tried that has worked better for you that we don't know about-please educate us on your Tricks. Thanks!!!

Just the sorts of things suggested here.

If in doubt, dispute and dispute again.

Clean everything up.

Don't close cards.  get the right cards. etc etc

Yes, EX does s*ck beachballs! Now to answer your question, there is no sure fire way to know exactly how many points your score will climb. That said, people with lower scores (400's-lower 600's) are more likely to see score increases than those in the 700's or higher.

Re: what sort of score increase can you expect per month?

what are the right cards to have, what approx. score to get a certain right card, and what CRA do they check? I know unsecured is better, all of mine are unsecured.

I forgot to say that I did read the link you posted. Now be honest with us.....you done someone a favor along the way-TU 803. You got something up your sleeve that you aren't telling us.

I also read the OP yesterday when it was posted, it was an awsome post.

Re: what sort of score increase can you expect per month?

Thanks Fused both of those links were very good. I saved both in Favorites to go back too.

I have seen the who gave me credit link many times on the forums, but never checked them out. I just thought they were a off the wall cc company. I didn't realize that it is a FICO site with good information.

The other link you added. I hadn't seen it before posted on the forums. It was good too.
