I would have them update it.. im not sure if it really matters that much.. My reports show the same, I was disputing a bunch of stuff and added that to the list.

Re: what to do if...

Have you applied for and received credit since leaving Farm Fresh?

I've noticed that the current employer portion of the CR gets updated with the current employer's name when I apply for credit. I appd a couple months ago listing myself as the employer (self-employed as well as employed).

Re: what to do if...

My TU report shows a deli I worked at over 25 years ago.  I was making $5.00 an hour!  It doesn't matter.  If your employer doesn't report it, it doesn't show up...it has no impact on score anyway.

BTW...I've applied for and received all kinds of credit since then, so I'm not sure that's the trigger for it to update.  My EQ shows no employment history whatsoever!

You employer doesn't report it, to my knowledge.

I think each creditor chooses what to report. I have a creditor who reported my new phone number and I know which done it b/c it appeared at the same time a new account did. But my other creditros never reported my phone number.

True, it doesn't impact score.

Some creditors will look at employment area and try to use it to verify what you have put on your app. It isn't reliable and I've never heard of them denying anyone b/c what you put on app and that doesn't match.
