I talked to my tax lady and she said as soon as we close bring her the paperwork and we can get the $7500 the following week! I can't wait to go furniture shopping

Oh, they'll work! Your worry that they won't is just your brain trying to kill you (BTDT -- still AM! LOL!). Mine comes more in the form of the LO snatching up the paperwork at the closing table and laughing maniacally!
Seriously, the crappy stuff is DONE. Now is the time to start planning on where you'll have your friends move that REALLY heavy couch (or does it look better closer to the doorway? .... Nah. Put it back where you had two hours and 15 feet ago)!!
That's awesome about the $7500!! That'll buy a LOT of furniture. Not trying to plug any particular store here, but do you have a Rooms To Go near you? They're having a BIG sale this week (we're going to be buying furniture, too -- yuck! More money spent). Also take a looky-see at Homedecoratorsoutlet.com. It's owned by Home Depot (so if you have or want a HD card, it'll work at that website) and it has AWESOME stuff at great prices. The quality isn't "handed-down-from-generation-to-generation" -- but it's better than what you'd find at Tar-jhay. Some of their stuff is higher quality, though.
They even have bathroom cabinets -- the kind you stick a sink fixture in.

(personally, I love being able to holler and hear an echo. My kids love just running around and not having to worry about falling over furniture)
