BCU

Ok dh got a small loan from BCU very fast very painless , however they out in his savings account ok all good, I went to transfer to an established verified external account Received this error external functionality disabled on account? Say what

Maybe they'll loan you money, as long as it stays in their account, lol.

Showing my ignorance here, but what is BCU? I couldn't find anything about them or where they are located on the interwebs.

Baxter CU based out of Illinois.  Great CU overall.  Believe was created initially for Baxster Phama employees but pretty big and places like Deloitte and various other big companies such as HCA etc offer it as a FI for their employees.  Also not sure if open still but how i gained access to it was by LMY (life money and you) route to get past other restrictions but heard they clamped down on some lending by that method now.  Good rates on car loans etc

Certainly feels like it can't do much with it just sitting in savings . Will call tomorrow

Man they are really ticking me off . Nobody seems to be able to figure it out .

My external account is set up and verified have used to pay credit card , but I can't transfer from the savings account they put his loan into.

Really no pint as I can't access savings I am about to just pay it back with savings and be done with it .

I am super curious... had there already been too many withdrawals 😫  from that saving account in 1 given month or was it just some random and weird occurrence with BCU?

We are done with BCU I have never transferred from savings .He called and asked why external account was blocked and was told they would put in a request, about 5 minutes later got an email they denied the request what.? So now we try to log in just going pay this off with savings and close the loan  and account is locked 😡😡

he called back in they put on hold forever then a "manager " gets on the line and says he knows that this isn't my husband calling WHAT . This is unbelievable so my hubby says close the loan and all accounts and pay the loan with savings and they said ok and hung up .

so now we can't even get into account to see. I have never in my life had such an issue with a credit union in my life

Be glad you're done with them. There's something wrong with that place.
