At this point I'd believe most of us are "on the same page" when thinking about BCU.
Funny they wouldn't give DH any information about regaining access or about external denial because they claimed it wasn't him (still can't go over that ) he told them to transfer from savings and close the loan . They apparently did by his request you know from the person they said was not him

Not at all . I just find them mind numbing lol . Nothing wrong with spreading the word about them and our experience.
Interesting to see that a number of you have had issues. BCU is known for restricting certain functionalities for new members as a method of fraud prevention, but will un-restrict with regular usage within a short period of time.
I only have good things to say about them. They've given me an obscene amount of credit so far, and have bent over backwards with every lending request I've given them.
don't know what to say, but I am a happy member too. BCU has been my primary quite a long time

We are not new members , I thought about that but we have been members for awhile .
I am sure some have had good experiences with them as we all don't have the same things happen .

I've been accused of not being me and of fraud a number of times. I tell them to get bent each time and leave whichever FI. Some CS reps and "fraud investigators" get really cocky sometimes even though they're dead wrong.
Yes we never experienced this before . They closed the loan and we received letter stating his credit card was closed as they determined he wasn't eligible for this CU🙄, still waiting for the other CC to be closed although on the phone call he told them to close everything. Then got an email stating his shared draft check request was issued so I am assume they will send a check for what he had in savings account . Still can't access his online account as he is not calling them again . I will never do business with them again .
If you wanted to go full mamabear on them you could try emailing the Illinois Division of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) at FPR.CreditUnion@illinois.gov or calling them at 217-782-2831 and tell them you want to file a complaint.
