Re: Bank Account Denial Question

Does anyone know who PenFed reports to when an account owes $$?

I just remembered that my Regular Share (checking?) account is -$5.00 and has been since I defaulted in 2018.

I have tried countless times to pay that $5, but the app won't allow me to add an external account to pay it off and I have called more than once and they won't take a payment over the phone. Nearest branch is over 6hrs away.

The account is showing still open through the app.

Have you tried mailing them a $5 check?

No, not yet.

I had a very close relative pass away just over 3 years ago and that's when I just let everything go and didn't care about much.

Fortunatly I'm starting to snap out of that funk and starting to be an adult again.

Im just so used to instantly being able to take care of a bill, that snail mail always pushed paying that $5 to the back of my mind, but will be sending the $5 in the next day or two.
