Chex Systems Score 9999

I used to have a score, but my chexsystems score report came back as "9999" - Not enough information on file or something. I used to have a score. Yes I have opened accounts in the past using chex but it was after inquiries fell off 3+ years ago. so i have 1 name on file, 1 address, 1 email, 1 phone number. I have an online account with themm so i cna see everything paperless. I requested my report, like i stated above ^ 1 everything of personal info. No reported inquiries, no reported accounts (which is good), and nothing reported. I havent tried, but would I most likely get denied a credit union account if I were to try??? lol. I know this seems crazy but i googled it and it says 

• Lack of history: A score of 9999 means you do not have a sufficient banking history for ChexSystems to calculate a risk score.

How to resolve this

• Establish a banking history: Open a bank account and conduct your banking activities through it.

So they want me to gain inquiries for a score? lol. Yet banking activities dont even report to Chex like they do EWS .. so... uhm... lol. any advice or thoguhts on this matter? sorry for the typos.

nothing reported is good, you don't cease to be a person without a chex score, I wouldn't worry about not being able to pull a chex score, as soon as you apply for 1 bank/cu that uses chex, you'll be able to pull a score again

Found the same ongoing score that you reported. As long as they don't affect my banking and financial activities wonderful!

Too many ways for the financials to follow me around now with their hand in my back pocket.

Being unscoreable means no reported activity associated with possible fraudulent behavior on file.

Where is your Vantage 4.0 Score?

You ranted back in July 2025. Need some action here.

Glad my credit union gives me the Vantage 4.0 score as it is my lowest and I know my bureau scores should be high but not with Vantage 4.0?! The credit union just switched two months ago.

My VS4 score remains elusive. I can not be coerced into a new account to gain score access. I am patient and will wait for a free score to become available by some other means. I suspect my limited account file would score around 810 - 815 on VS4.

I did check my CS score back in 2017. It was 9999. At the time 45% of the cohort was unscoreable to CS. My guess is I'm still a quad nine.
