Hi @1GaDawg85 , Somewhere between 20-25.
😮😮😮
Well, you're the perfect person to ask this. I noticed when I accessed my Affinity acct that they use what seems to be a very popular portal for CU. They happen to have one of the nicest versions, though. With CU that use these portals like Affinity's, do you ever have issues logging in? Typically, I enter my login info and it takes me to yet another login screen that says that they're having tech issues. And, sometimes, it'll swear that I'm using a new device and send me a security code, even when I just logged in from the same computer minutes earlier.
I use brave browser and that happens all the time with most of my CU's log in's. Firefox does not do this once it is registered i can log directly into accounts on first try.
Chrome here. Glad that it's not just me. Thanks.

@cr101 , I use Firefox on my laptop for financial. I have no problems logging in.
Doing my little bit, I applied (and was successful) in joining EFCU. Soon after I applied, I got a call from them, wanting to let me know that they only have eight branches, all in Baton Rouge LA area, and they have no presence in MA, so was I sure that I wanted..... Well, you don't launder drug money in your own back yard do you!
Still, apart from the HP on EQ, pretty easy, they pay for a donation to their foundation to allow out of area membership. My interest is in their high rate (for 2021) IRA certs, not sure if they have anything special in credit cards.
Hey I was approved for key point need someone to help me gain membership

Alliant CU - Approved
Keypoint CU - Approved
SAFE CU - Approved
USALLIANCE CU - Approved

First Tech - Denied / Chex Inqs.( glad I was not approved / too much revolving credit is an issue)

@M_Smart007 Hi! Since it's been over a year since you went on this spree, I'm curious to hear your feedback. Of the many credit unions you are a member of, what are your top 3 and why? I'm getting ready to go on a slight spree myself. Ideally I want to join a few that are seen as "relationship credit unions" and have other strong personal products (credit cards, etc.). It would be nice if they have great business products as well. I'm already a member of the following: Alliant, DCU, First Tech, NFCU, NIH, PenFed, SECU, Service CU & Signal CU.
I'm heavily considering the CUs below. What are your thoughts about these?
Of course, if anyone else has feedback it is welcomed as well. Thank you!

- Affinity
- Barclays
- Marcus - Goldman Sachs
- E*Trade
- Capital One 360 - Not a fan because of how strict they are about CLIs and multiple HPs for CCs.
Of course, if anyone else has feedback it is welcomed as well. Thank you!
I believe from your list ..#1 is the only CU ..unless I am missing something?
I do highly recommend Affinity, pretty much a well oiled machine,
The CashRewards Visa is an outstanding card. Plus all the rest is great, website, phone app. transfers customer service ..etc.
Looks like you are already a member of quite a few.
Like NFCU and Patelco also. A few of the others I like ..are probably not available for Membership.
Everyone's experience will differ slightly. Just the way that it is.
I will let others chime in. like @PullingMeSoftly ![]()

@M_Smart007 Thank you for your feedback. Yes; I made an error! Affinity is the only one that's a CU! I guess I've just been thinking about and ready to open new CU accounts and new HYSA accounts and ran them both together. LOL! Thanks again! I have been considering their Visa Signature, but with the changes they've made, I'm not so sure I'm going to apply for it. I'm looking for a card above 2% for groceries and gas. Since you've had the card, have they done consistent promotions?
Congrats! Why leave 1 state out since you belong to almost everything else?
Gonna make you click on this one...............![]()
