24 years*
I am also at 24 years as well, my mom signed me up when I was 12. I remember her telling me about it, and I was like, meh, whatevs. Oh, to be young again, lol...
Pizza, I also wanted to add that I am sure you are well aware of the stigma BK has. People are just ignorant about the whole situation, look at some of the comments that are said here. I would try to let it slide, water off a duck's back, ya know?
But definitely pursue the EO avenue, that rep needs to be admonished.
I feel bad for you. This is a well documented policy of USAA. The rep was overly harsh but probably just giving you the company line. I would not shoot myself in the foot by canceling the lowest price insurance to spite them. If you can get lower cost insurance, by all means switch! But you should be doing that anyway.
But don't raise your own insurance premiums because you are pissed off. The only person that will be hurt is you.

Barbalee....Yeah, Im getting used to the comments...Someone that hasn't gone thru a BK, has no idea...literally the hoops you have to jump thru, the shame you get for 10 years, the looks, the "amazement" at getting credit again, etcccc.... its enough to make me vomit.
I filed BK in 2001 due to medical debt. All I got afterwards was sub prime cards. I didn't know anything about managing credit. After I lost my job 1/2008, I considered it again, I purposefully let a car get repo'd. I swore off credit. I was told to wait it out by a lawyer friend because I was considered judgement proof, I waited, 7 years. I have learned to live with the consequences of both actions, and I am a better person for it, I now know how to manage money. I want to keep available credit within a certain amount of my annual income, and I am not even there yet.
You have grown your profile fairly quickly. But don't assume many of us don't know where you came from, or where you are at, if I had found this forum earlier, it would have been repaired earlier, but I wouldn't have 6 years of knowledge gained living on a cash diet. I paid everyone that was owed (to a point). Let's remember to keep it friendly, supportive and respectful. I have seen no one put you down.

Agree with Nixon, I don't think she was singling out this forum. If anything, I did, but certainly no one in particular.
