NFCU Checking Account and CLOC question.. Use it or lose it?

Just got this email from NFCU.. I have a saving / checking a CLOC and 3 cc's with them.. Anyways just got this email.. Granted I never use the Checking account and have maybe 25$ parked in it and a CLOC or 10k that I really don't want to lose.  Anyone have any insight on this or seen this message regarding their checking account with NFCU?  I dont even have the card as cut it up a few years ago when I got it as never inteded on using the checking account.. Thoughts?

Suppose I will push like $10 meaning ACH to my NFCU Checking account from another instituion and I would think this would get them to shut it for another half year or year as I use their CC big time, but still want that CLOC incase...

Or you could ask for replacement card and buy a bag if ice every six months

Indeed or well beer is always better, but that could work..  Or transfer money should work just a trivial amount?  I will call them and get a new debit card sent to me.. One more dang card I need to keep track of sigh.  I bet alot of people will be getting these emails shortly

Ok so just got off with NFCU regarding this... Certain states for some reason has to have activity not sure by law or whatever but basically what he stated and he just transferred 1 cent from savings to checking within the institution to get that to clear.  So he suggested ever 3 months to move a penny around so it avoids this situation.. Strange indeed!

My local CU (Twinstar) may close checking account after 6 months of inactivity.

I've moved $100.00 seven  months ago and use if for $4.99 Shudder subscription.

I'm good for a couple of years

That's a great suggestion! God knows I could use that ice when out working on CC's estate grounds in the summer!  lol

Knowing this dude, he'll give me a ration of one ice cube a day, in order to make that bag of ice last the entire summer. Ha Ha Ha

You gotta work harder, G.

If you do, one day you may even be offered a beer. Maybe.

I can only hope Remedios. Dad always told me shoot for the stars. Well I'm shooting for that ice cold beer, out of CC's professional Chef size refrigerator! His frig cost more than my car. lol
