Took a quick trip out of the garden today to finally treat myself to an elliptical. I hate running outdoors. I work at a university, so usually I just run at the gym, but the campus is shut down. As of right now it looks like I'll be WFH until Jan 2021. I want to keep eating cookies, so I needed to I something about this.
Originally approved for 3400, but the one I wanted came out to 4650. Was just going to pay the difference, but couldn't find a way to do it. Called and got a CLI to 4500. Even dropping all of the extras I was still at 4510. Kind of frustrating. Did some research on the models and ended up going with a lower model. Based on reviews, looked like the better choice and I ended up saving $600. So win-win!
The financing is for 0% for 36 months. Payments will be around $115/mo.
This was a stressful purchase for me. Things were rough for me financially putting myself through school (hence the bk), but I graduated and have been making good money for some time now. My job is secure even with the pandemic. I've been making extra payments on my student loans, have no cc debt, and save around 1k a month.
I'm really excited to treat myself. I have the entire purchase price available, so I'm not worried about the payments. It is just hard to change gears and splurge, but this is something I've always wanted and I'm really excited to make the investment!
The financing was through TD BANK. They did HP on Experian. Today's score is 704. 12 month inq was 8 (my Ex is really battered from before I found these forums haha). Rest of my data is in my sig, but feel free to ask if there is anything else you'd like to know!

Thanks @AllZero

Congratulations on the new elliptical!!
I need to invest in something similar in the future!

Thanks @Gmood1 I've been forever wanting to get a good quality one. I've been feeling better about it throughout the day and am excited. Always a good sign when you don't have remorse after purchasing haha.

Congratulations!
