Have tried 7 times to start a account for the 200$ it gets to the part where my credit union sends me a code to verify the deposit it hangs up once i enter it the it says app denined due to being unable to verfiy
I have tried customer support chat 3 times they dont seem to been able to even type english and just repeat what i type almost and 0 help all they said is keep trying lol
i dont think the 200$ worth the headache and at this rate i think they would find a way to not even pay it
Give them a call.

I've re-read your post a couple times and it still makes zero sense. If you're trying to open an account at HSBC what does your credit union have to do with it??? And if you're trying to "start" an account what deposit are you trying to verify? You have to get an account opened to make a deposit.
But yes, HSBC is a royal pain to deal with, their security is a convoluted mess and their customer support useless. I did the Slickdeals $125 bonus for opening a savings account and that was fairly quick & painless. But that $200 bonus requires you to deposit $1500 within 30 days, keep it there for 90 days, for a total of 120 days. Then there's a $25 fee for closing the account within 180 days, and if you want to take your money out there's a $15 monthly fee unless you keep a minimum of $1500 or have a direct deposit.
There are much easier and much better new bank account bonuses, and not having to deal with HSBC is a bonus by itself.

The details of the offer says that you need to deposit $1500 within 30 days, you don't have to open the account with $1500, it's only a minimum of $25 to open the account. It takes a couple days for security to approve your account and they often request you send them proof of identity like a drivers license. So try opening the account with a small amount like maybe $50.00. When I opened a savings account I did it with $50 and put in my credit union routing & account numbers and it didn't ask for any verification, once my account was approved they did the transfer. If you can try opening the account through a web browser on a computer, not a phone app -it could very well be their phone app is buggy.
