In that case, close the Credit One account ASAP and then garden for 6 to 12 months. The closed Credit One account will remain as a positive tradeline for up to 10 years, and your AAoA will not be affected. Smiley Wink

Wow, that's really cool, I thought that it removed the account from your history.. I think I'll keep it open for 4 more months and then close it unless I'm able to negotiate an offer with them, never actually done that before so I'm not sure if that's possible.

My advice is to just get rid of them.

Re: Should I close any of my credit card accounts?

Every time a subprime/predatory lenders card is closed, a credit angel gets their wings... You have more than enough cards to compensate for any little blips.. which are unlikely because you shoudnt have any sort of balance on this card.....

Tear off the bandaid the only minor if any affect is utilization... and your other limits can more than compensate for this....
