I'm also a member of both as well as many, many others. Lol
There's a couple of things either(Penfed/NFCU) does better than the other.
You can get a higher rate savings account with Penfed. You can pay your CCs from outside bank accounts.
The last one drives me nuts with NFCU!
I hate not being able to link external accounts to my CC's. So I can set auto pay up and not worry about missing a payment.

Your income is fine OP. Let me ease your mind.

My individual income is lower than yours.

I have two CCs with them totalling $50k. On top of that I have roughly $800,000 in TCLs reporting. It took me two years to get SP offers. Some members get them right from the start.

I have SP offers in my account right now for auto loans. For some they are conservative for others , they open the penthouse up to you!

@Gmood1, Maybe I am not reading it correctly? Are you saying you can't pay from outside accounts?

I am able to pay from external. Maybe I am just mis-reading what you posted?

You read that right. I have the accounts there for transfers but I can't set auto pay up with them. I can only do it from the internal accounts @M_Smart007 .

@Gmood1  ..The only thing I can't seem to do is Minimum Payment, but I can do recurring transfers from outside accounts,

but in fixed amounts. One Time, Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Monthly, Twice a Month .. on a set Calendar date. So I can do auto pay,

but not for the Minimum. Maybe that is what you are trying to get through My thick head ..lol

😂😂

Exactly my friend! With Penfed, I can set auto pay to full statement balance.

Which is how I set all my CCs that aren't on a 0% BT.

So whatever that amount is, it gets paid.

BECU does the same exact foolishness. Only NFCU people accept it more because well NFCU is NFCU lol.

No people gripe about BECU because you can't pay from an external account period. NFCU just doesn't allow auto pay from an external account.

@Anonymous Thanks for the correction. One of the reasons I don't use and possibly will close my BECU account.
