Using CC to fund transfer using Xoom - Purchase or advance?

Hi All

I need to send some money from U.S to UK and xoom looks pretty good for my needs - If I use a CC to fund the transfer, will it be viewed by CC Co as a cash advance?

Thanks Smiley Wink

It probably depends on the card, but searching on the web suggests that it will be a cash advance.  For example,

Cash equivalents like this are typically treated as a cash advance.   I'd expect it to be a cash advance.
