So I'm looking at my credit report on Experian and I see that all of Account Status say closed.... but with a balance. Not sure what this means. I'm looking to start sending out PFD letters today and want to make sure I'm doing the right thing. I will give a few examples.... So I put up one from 2008 and one from 2014 everything inbetween says the same thing. On MyFico it either says Collection Account or Unpaid. So confused right now...

Both of these entries appear to be unpaid CAs, you would need to proceed with the PFD in an attempt to get them removed, just make sure you have the full amount if this is inside your states SOL. Here are a couple of good threads to go over on the PFD.
