BK = bankruptcy.  

Typically, if AmEx was included in BK (IIB), then an individual is usually blacklisted (BL).

I had to make payments through a third party they sold the debt to (Nationwide Credit). Unfortunately I had to authorize them to auto-debit a set amount each month from my checking account rather than a debit/CC card, and honestly their website was sort of janky and I was nervous about it, but it was legit. They did allow me to make payments on top of the auto-pay amount so I was able to pay it down faster.
