So Equifax says they can't remove my dispute comments, i have to do it through CSC. No biggie. But when i call CSC, the rep told me she has to send a letter to the collection company to have them verify the account is no longer in dispute.
Does anyone have a different experience or contact #?
Did you dispute with the CRA or the creditor? Has the dispute been resolved?

What is CSC?
In my experience, I did in fact do just that. Prior to my mortgage, I wrote a letter to each CA that said in dispute that I was no longer disputing this account and they need to remove the flags. They did. But from my understandin, and some LOs have indicated this in the mortgage forum, there are ways to get the CRA to remove these flags...

CSC is a company that "occasionally" handles accounts on behalf of EQ. And this is the exact scenario. I have a couple accounts with dispute remarks I got removed from TU and EX. EQ indicated they cannot remove the remarks because CSC is handling. CSC claims only account owner (collection company) can remove comments.
I can send off the letter and wait 30+ days but am in a bit of a time crunch....hence the post.
CSC actually handles the reporting for equifax in the midwest. I've dealt with them myself. When you call them, ask for "special handling" and don't take no for an answer. That's what I finally had to do.

Umm, excuse me? I have a valid reason for asking. So please refrain from telling me what you THINK I am trying to diagnose.

When you finally find the right person to do what you needed, what was the turnaround time for seeing the updates?
