Hey guys, I just wanted to make my experience public I'm case it's useful to anyone.
I had one 30-day late payment from April of ’19 and after reading on here tried calling a few times to request it be removed. Nobody ever knew what I was talking about at all, and it was a major waste of time. They have their script and they don't know anything else.
I basically gave up for a few months until I decided that I wanted to refinance and that late payment was hurting my credit score considerably.
Anyway, I found a list of like 27 or 37 Citibank executives and copied that into my recipient field in Gmail. Then found a Goodwill letter template and made it reflect my situation.
Less than a week later, I received an encrypted response, made an account to be able to open the response and it said that they requested that the late payment be removed.
Less than a week after that, and my creditkarma score is up about 30 points and I have a 100% on my payments instead of 99%.
I know everyone always asks for the email address that worked, so just Google something like "Citibank executive email" and you'll find a list of the big wigs.
