Re: Collection Shield 360 Success

@momx5 - Nope. I have one listed as other as well and they told me they could not do anything with it because it's not listed as a collection. However, they do allow us to upload collection letters, so I was planning on calling tomorrow to ask if they'll dispute it if I upload the letter I received from the collection agency. I'll keep you posted.

Re: Collection Shield 360 Success

Thank you! I wonder if that is why some collection agencies are smart and list them as an "other" account rather than collection so they can't be sued on it.

Definitely keep me updated! Thanks!!

Re: Collection Shield 360 Success

I agree. I think they report that way on purpose.

I made the call and was told that if they find an error on the collection letter, the attorney would go after the collection agency for a violation, BUT since the account is listed on my report as by the OC, it wouldn't affect the reporting. Hope this helps!

Re: Collection Shield 360 Success

Hi there I am a newbie. I signed up with Collection Shield 360 back in December 2016.   Within one month I noticed collections disappearing.  Out of 12 collections disputed they were able to have 10 deleted / removed.  My credit score increased by 48 points. Probably would have been higher if my Cap 1 util wasnt so high. Nonetheless, they work. Nothing but great things to say about them.

Re: Collection Shield 360 Success

Count me in the CS360 camp. They got rid of my last collection, a paid account that Pinnacle was reporting. I tried to get them to remove it for over a year with no traction whatsoever. It took CS360 less than two weeks. While I understand the argument that we can accomplish these things ourselves, some of us simply don't have enough time to devote to it. If they can get it done quicker (and for FREE), i'm more than willing to save myself the aggravation. I just wish they did charge offs...

Re: Collection Shield 360 Success

Smiley Frustrated Not my experience at all. I'm getting ready to cancel service with them. For one, it takes almost 2 weeks for them to get started and then they start you on a 50 day timer, which you have to check in everyday to check for any results, which there are none for almost 30 days. I have about 15 days left. I did have two ER collections removed but that's all. You are very much on your own even after signing up with them. I think once this round is over, I'm going to cancel.
