Fall Off Date Help

Hi All,

So kinda new to all of this but trying to rebuid and learn from stupid past mistakes. I currently have 4 "Potentially Negative Items" listed on my Experian Report (also on my EQ). According to EX two items are due to age off this year, both are items are charged off/written off. The other two I was taken to court for but then paid each in full.

Question is in regaurds for the two items that I paid in full. So because those were paid do I now have to wait for those items to age off according to the date that I paid in full or am I still going by date of fist delinquency? Smiley Frustrated

Thanks so much in advance for the help.  Smiley Happy

Re: Fall Off Date Help

So do I assume the other two (the ones I paid in full for) are judgements even if EQ do not report that I have any Judgements? Smiley Surprised Thanks so much!

Re: Fall Off Date Help

You said you were taken to court, and then paid in full. Judgements are the end result of being sued in court by a creditor. If you lose, and the judge awards the creditor money. Sometimes if you go to court and make agreement to pay, and actually keep the agreement you avoid having a judgement entered against you.

Is there anything on your CR in the public records section? If not, then IME it ill fall off no later than 7.5 yrs from DOFD.

Nope nothing in the public records section. I believe they were both dismissed by the respective law firms.

Re: Fall Off Date Help

Thats fairly common. You should see it fall off 7.5 yrs from DOFD. EQ will list the date of DOFD. Sometimes there is a month or two difference between EQ and TU or EX on fall off dates. EX and TU will list the fall off date.

Be patient. You're moving in the right direction. Good luck!

In the meantime, you could try sending out some Goodwill letters. You have nothing to loose!
