HIPPA letter

Hello everyone,

Quick question. I sent the second HIPPA letter to the orginial creditor with it stating that they have 10 days to respond. What do you do after they do not respond. I actually gave them more than 10 business days to answer. No response. I sent this certified Return Receipt. Do I contact the credit bureaus next or to the collection agency that I paid off the same year it went to collections.

See it was a medical bill for $110 that was due to my insurance company delay in making payment. I paid them now its still on my credit report reporting from the Collection agency who I paid in full.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
AJ

Re: HIPPA letter

Did you send the pre-HIPAA letter?

If you click on the relevant link in my signature, it outlines the process and steps to take.

Re: HIPAA letter

Exactly how many days has it been since you received the green cards on both letters #1 (CRA dispute letter) & #2 (OC letter)?

Re: HIPAA letter

Send letter #3 to the OC with a copy of your original CRA dispute letter and a copy of letter #4, the second dispute letter to the CRA. Once you recieve the green card from letter #3 to the OC, then send letter #4 to the CRA. CMRRR everything. Please note, I want you use the letter below in lieu of letter #4.

Dear CRA,
My name is xxxxx xxxxxx , my SS # is xxx xx xxxx.
I am sending this dispute certified mail return receipt # xxxx to make sure you receive it.
I have no knowledge or records of account # xxxxx on my report # xxxxx.
I have disputed this unknown medical account with the reporting Collection Agent, ( copy enclosed with proof of their receipt) and have had no response.
Please advise me as to the name and address of the original creditor, the name of the account holder, and the reported date of first delinquency,as any account I might have had at one time would be obsolete.
If you can obtain this information, I also would need the name of the person providing this data, and the manner in which it was provided in order that I may pursue additional legal remedies.
If you are unable to verify and refuse to delete, I will be filing appropriate complaints against you with the FTC and State authorities . I also reserve the right to include your Bureau in any legal remedies I pursue.

Very truly yours,
